Rear-Admiral Victor Gabriel Brodeur, (17 September, 1892 – 6 October, 1976) served in the Royal Canadian Navy.

Life & Career

Brodeur served in H.M.S. Dreadnought in 1911.

Brodeur was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant with seniority of 14 January, 1915 and served again in H.M.S. Dreadnought in 1915.

Brodeur was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 14 January, 1923.

Brodeur was promoted to the rank of Commander on 25 January, 1927.

Brodeur was promoted to the rank of Captain on 1 January, 1936.

Brodeur was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 1 July, 1942.

Brodeur served as Commanding Officer, Pacific Coast from 1943 to 1946. He retired shortly thereafter.
