U.S.S. Caesar was a collier purchased for the U.S. Navy.

Construction

Launched on 31 January, 1896 by Ropner and Sons of Stockton-on-Tees, England as the Kingtor.[7] Purchased by the U.S. Navy on 21 April, 1898 and fitted out at the New York Navy Yard.[8]

Service

Caesar was commissioned on 13 May, 1898.[9]

Renamed Mogul in 1923 and ultimately scrapped at Yokohama during 1935.[10]
