Captain (retired) Spencer Phipps Brett, (23 February, 1831 – February, 1912) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Brett was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 19 April, 1854.

Brett was promoted to the rank of Commander on 16 April, 1862. This was later altered to 1864 as a result of a Court Martial.

Retired with the rank of Captain on 17 September, 1873.
