Captain Seymour Henry Pelham Dacres, (17 July, 1847 – 28 May, 1887) served in the Royal Navy.

Dacres was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 20 April, 1868.^[1]

Dacres was promoted to the rank of Commander on 11 September, 1872.^[2]

Dacres was promoted to the rank of Captain on 9 March, 1881.^[3]

Dacres died of meningitis at Yokohama.^[4]
