Lieutenant-Commander Sebald Walter Bluett Green, D.S.O., R.N. (18 June, 1880 – 25 August, 1919) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Green was born in Warren. His father, A. J. M. Green, was a clerk in Holy Orders. Green gained twelve months' time on passing out of Britannia.

Green was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1901.

Green was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 October, 1909.

Green was appointed in temporary command of the "G" Class destroyer Glowworm on 3 June, 1919. He died on 25 August, 1919 of injuries sustained when Glowworm was damaged in an explosion on the Dvina River in Russia.
