Captain R.N.R. (retired) Samuel Bernard Graves, R.D., R.N. (15 April, 1877 – ) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Born in New Ross, Wexford.

Graves was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. with a seniority of 17 June, 1904.

Graves was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. with a seniority of 17 June, 1912.

Graves was promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. with a seniority of 31 December, 1917.

Graves was appointed in command of the destroyer Nonpareil on 26 September, 1918.[1]

He was still alive in 1952.
