Captain Ronald George Bowes-Lyon, M.V.O. (22 June, 1893 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

His last name either had no hyphen or it was specified to be removed in 1925.

Life & Career

Bowes-Lyon passed out of Royal Naval College, Dartmouth in April, 1910 ranked 54th of 77 cadets in marks on the Part I examination.[1]

Bowes-Lyon was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 March, 1916.

Bowes-Lyon was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 March, 1924.

Bowes-Lyon was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1929.

Bowes-Lyon was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1936.

Bowes-Lyon was placed on the Retired List on 5 July 1945.
