Commander Robert Wise Richardson, D.S.O., R.N. (4 December, 1884 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Sevenoaks.

Richardson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1906.

On 4 June, 1912, Richardson was appointed Lieutenant & Commander of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 16.[1]

Richardson was appointed in command of the destroyer Ghurka on 6 September, 1914.[2]

Richardson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 October, 1914.

Richardson was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1919.

Placed on the Retired List at his own request on 31 July, 1920.
