Lieutenant-Commander (retired) Robert Stocker (14 October, 1875 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Stocker was promoted to the acting rank of Gunner on 8 December, 1902 and was confirmed in that rank on 10 December, 1903.
Stocker commanded T.B. 046 from 23 August, 1913 until she was lost while being towed on 21 December, 1915. He spent some time in Europa and M.16 before being appointed to T.B. 044 on 25 March, 1916, though this time he appears not to be in command.
Later in 1916 the Vice-Admiral, Eastern Mediterranean transferred Stocker to T.B. 043, which which he was eventually invalided with dysentery on 25 August, 1917.
Stocker was promoted to the rank of Chief Gunner on 8 December, 1917.
Stocker was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 March, 1918.
Stocker was placed on the Retired List at his own request upon his relief on 24 August, 1920. He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander (retired) on 1 March, 1926.
