Captain R.N.R. (retired) Robert McMurray (26 December, 1885 – ) was an officer in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

McMurray was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 23 July, 1911.

Acting Lieutenant-Commander, R.N.R. McMurray was appointed in command of the destroyer Avon on 12 September, 1918.[1]

McMurray was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 23 July, 1919.

McMurray was promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 1 January, 1925.

Placed on the Retired List owing to non-sea service on 19 April, 1928, McMurray was promoted to the rank of Captain R.N.R. on 31 December, 1929.
