Robert Gerald Hamond ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Hamond was appointed in command of the destroyer Viking on 15 December, 1910.[1]

He was appointed in command of the destroyer Owl on 27 April, 1914.[2] He was her captain at the Battle of Jutland, where she fought as part of the Fourth Destroyer Flotilla.[3]

On 19 July, 1917, Hamond was appointed in command of the flotilla leader Valorous.[4]
