Rear-Admiral Robert Bertram Ramsay (12 October, 1884 – 10 February, 1942) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Madras.

Ramsay was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 November, 1905.[1]

Ramsay was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 November, 1913.[2]

Great War

Ramsay was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1917.[3]

Interbellum

Ramsay was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1924.[4]

Ramsay was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 1 January, 1936 and placed on the Retired List at his own request the following day.[5]
