Commander (retired) Reginald Robert Helbert, (12 May, 1898 – 19 April, 1945) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of a Lieutenant-Colonel, Helbert was a special entry to the Navy.

Helbert was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 May, 1920.

Helbert was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 May, 1928.

World War II

Helbert was placed on the Retired List at the rank of Commander on 12 May 1943. He died in an aircraft accident in April, 1945.
