Captain Ralph Vincent Eyre, D.S.O., R.N., Retired (21 September, 1882 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career
Born in Mayfair West, the son of retired Colonel Henry R. Eyre, Coldstream Guards Regiment.
Eyre was appointed in command of the destroyer Brisk on 31 December, 1911.[1]
Eyre was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1912.
Eyre was in command of the destroyer Mounsey at the Battle of Jutland, where she was part of the Eleventh Destroyer Flotilla.[2]
Eyre was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1916.[3]
He was appointed in command of the destroyer Wryneck on 18 September, 1918.[4]
Post-War
Eyre was placed on the Retired List at his own request upon expiration of his foreign service leave, which occurred on 2 March, 1923.
Eyre was promoted to the rank of Captain (retired) on 21 September, 1927.
