Price Vaughan Lewes, C.B., and D.S.O. (? – ?) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

He was promoted to Captain on 30 June, 1905.[1]

Captain

In December 1905, Lewes assumed command of the second class protected cruiser Hyacinth.[2]

He was appointed command of the battleship Cæsar on 9 August, 1910.[3]

In June of 1911, he was given command of Commonwealth,[4] operating with the Fourth Battle Squadron. He remained here until October of 1913.[5]

In July 1914, he was given command of the battleship Superb,[6] operating with the First Battle Squadron[7], remaining with her until November.[8]
