Rear-Admiral (retired) Loben Edward Harold Maund, C.B.E., R.N. (26 September, 1892 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Maund was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 December, 1914.

Maund was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 December, 1922.

Maund was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1927.

Maund was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1934.

Maund was appointed in command of the destroyer Scorpion on 1 March, 1918.[1]

He was appointed in command of the destroyer Mentor on 15 January, 1919.[2]

World War II

Maund was placed on the Retired List on 8 July, 1943 in the rank of Captain, to continue to serve in the acting rank of Rear-Admiral.

Maund was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 1 March, 1946.
