Captain (retired) Lewis Frederick Blackburn, (19 February, 1856 – 5 January, 1916) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Blackburn was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 February, 1882.

Blackburn was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1896.

Blackburn retired at his own request on 20 March, 1903 with the rank of Captain.

Blackburn died at his home of pneumonia "stated to have been contracted whilst on active service."
