Leonard Coryton Lister

Lieutenant Leonard Coryton Lister, (28 August, 1866 – 20 April, 1904) served in the Royal Navy in the Dreadnought Era.
Life & Career
The son of J. V. Lister of the Foreign Office.[1]
While in his first appointment in H.M.S. Monarch, Lister was awarded the Egyptian Medal with Alexandria Clasp in 1883.
Lister was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 22 December, 1888.[2]
Lister was diagnose with neuroretinitis in 1897.[3]
Lister was placed on the Retired List on 12 August, 1898 after having been deemed unfit for service on 2 August.[4]
He died in Australia.[5]
