Lieutenant-Commander Lambert Nugent Brickdale Morgan, R.N. (17 August, 1888 – 2 April, 1937) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Walton, Berkswick, Morgan entered the navy direct from Conway, being appointed to Canopus on 15 May, 1905.

Morgan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 22 June, 1911.

Morgan was removed from command of T.B. 22 very shortly after he took command after a Court Martial proved a charge that he had hazarded the ship. He received a severe reprimand and was dismissed the ship on 30 March, 1916. On 28 May, he was sent to a hospital ship to be treated for syphilis. He was found fit at Haslar Hospital on 27 June.

Morgan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 22 June, 1919. He was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 17 September, 1920.
