Commander (retired) Kenneth Michell, M.V.O., D.S.C., D.S.O., R.N. (27 March, 1887 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Michell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1909.

Michell was appointed to the submarine C 28 on 14 November, 1912.[1]

Michell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 October, 1917.

Post-War

On 18 November, 1926 Michell saved a girl from drowing in the river Thames, for which he was awarded a Royal Humane Society Bronze Medal and Certificate on 21 January, 1927.

Michell was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Commander on 3 April, 1931.
