Commander Kenneth Leslie Campbell (6 September, 1891 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Although he apparently passed the qualifying examination for entrance to Royal Naval College, Osborne in the May 1904 term,[1] Campbell's Service Record indicates he entered in the September, 1904 intake term.

Campbell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 August, 1914.

On 30 August, 1912, Campbell was promoted to the rank of Sub-Lieutenant.[2]

Campbell was appointed in command of the destroyer Alarm on 22 November, 1917.[3]

Post-War

Campbell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 August, 1922.

Campbell was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Commander on 23 October, 1934.

World War II

After 1937, Campbell specialised in boom defence work, and headed up early efforts to secure Malta's dockyard.
