John Wyndham Studholme

Lieutenant-Commander John Wyndham Studholme, D.S.C. (2 February, 1903 – 5 February, 1968) served in the Royal Navy.

As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.

Life & Career

Born in New Zealand.[1]

Studholme was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 November, 1925.[2]

Studholme was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 November, 1933.[3]

World War II

Studholme was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1940.[4]

Placed on the Retired List on 2 February, 1953.[5]
