Vice-Admiral John Walsh Carrington, D.S.O., O.B.E., Royal Navy (5 January, 1879 – 15 November, 1964) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Carrington served as Navigating Officer of King George V at the Battle of Jutland.

He was promoted to Captain on 31 December, 1917.

On 2 December, 1924, he became Captain in Command of Portsmouth Navigation School.[1]

He commanded Valiant from March 1927 until September 1928.[2]
