Commander (retired) John Roberts Poland, R.N. (20 January, 1893 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of a surgeon.

Poland was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 February, 1915.

Poland was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 February, 1923.

Poland was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Commander on 20 January, 1936.

Poland was appointed in command of the patrol boat P58 on 22 June, 1918.[1]
