John Edmund Drummond

Vice-Admiral John Edmund Drummond, Royal Navy, Retired (5 July, 1873 – 15 November, 1926) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Drummond was appointed in command of the armoured cruiser Aboukir in August, 1914,[1] and had her sunk from under him on 22 September.
He was swiftly appointed in command of the battleship Illustrious on 31 October, 1914.[2]
