John Arthur Mansfield Sturges

Commander (retired) John Arthur Mansfield Sturges, (25 March, 1885 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Falkins, Oxford, the son of Reverend H. C. Sturges, M.A..[1]

Sturges was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1906.[2]

Sturges was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 December, 1914.[3]

Sturges was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1918.[4]

He was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 1 January, 1923.[5]
