Lieutenant James Webber, R.N. (16 May, 1854 – 2 January, 1902) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Webber was promoted to the rank of Chief Boatswain with seniority of 19 July, 1881.

Webber was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant with seniority of 21 June, 1887.[1] He was appointed in command of the special service vessel Magnet for the Annual Manoeuvres of 1893.[2]

His Service Record may indicate that Webber was retired with the rank of Commander, but no definite entry seems apparent.
