Temporary Lieutenant R.N.R. James Patrick Gibson, R.N.R. ( – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Gibson was promoted to the temporary rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 5 May, 1916.

Commanded the paddle minesweeper Waverley from 23 July 1916[Fact Check] to 9 December 1916.

Commanded the paddle minesweeper Duchess of Rothesay from 9 December 1916 to 6 March, 1917.

Commanded the paddle minesweeper Waverley from 6 March, 1917 to 28 October 1918.

On 25 October, 1919 it was decided that he would be demobilised upon his arrival in China, date to be reported.
