James Parrington Gornall

Captain James Parrington Gornall, (22 September, 1899 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.

Life & Career

A Special Entry to the Navy, Gornall entered on 7 September, 1917.[1]

Gornall was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1920. He qualified as Lieutenant (S) in 1923.[2]

Gornall was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1928.[3]
