James Denham Douglas Stewart ( – ) was an officer of the Royal Navy during the First World War.

Life & Career

As a Commander, Stewart was appointed in command of the Magnificent on 29 July, 1913.[1] Stewart was appointed in command of the first class protected cruiser Royal Arthur in December 1915.[2]

He was promoted to Captain on 30 June 1918.

In February 1921, he was appointed in command of the light cruiser Cambrian.[3]
