Commander James Christian Collie, R.N., Retired (18 October, 1883 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy, working in Supply.

Collie was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on the Supplementary List on 1 April, 1913.

Collie was appointed in command of the destroyer Moy on 5 November, 1917.^[1]

He was appointed in command of the patrol boat P48 in March, 1920.^[2]

Collie was promoted to the rank of Supply Lieutenant-Commander on 1 April, 1921.

Collie was placed on the Retired List on account of age with the rank of Commander (retired) on 18 October, 1928.

Collie lived beyond 1948, living in Durban, Natal.
