Commander James Christian Collie, R.N., Retired (18 October, 1883 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy, working in Supply.
Life & Career
Collie was promoted to the rank of Supply Lieutenant on 1 April, 1913.
Collie was appointed in command of the destroyer Moy on 5 November, 1917.[1]
Post-War
He was appointed in command of the patrol boat P48 in March, 1920.[2]
Collie was promoted to the rank of Supply Lieutenant-Commander on 1 April, 1921.
Collie was placed on the Retired List on account of age with the rank of Commander (retired) on 18 October, 1928.
World War II
Collie lived beyond 1948, living in Durban, Natal.
