{{CaptRN} Hughes Campbell Lockyer (4 March, 1866 - 22 June, 1941) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Lockyer was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1908.

He was appointed captain of H.M.S. Exmouth in December of 1912, remaining there until July 1913.[1]

He was then appointed in command of the battleship Implacable on 21 August, 1913,[2] directing her while supporting shore bombardment activities off Gallipoli and the Straits in April and May, 1915.[3]

He retired on 21 March, 1918.
