Herbert Neville Garnett, C.M.G., ( – ) was an officer of the Royal Navy during the First World War.
Life & Career
Garnett was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1914.
He was placed in command of the monitor H.M.S. Roberts in May 1915.[1] In June 1916, he relieved Henry Tritton Buller in command of the second class protected cruiser Highflyer.[2]
He assumed command of the armoured cruiser Carnarvon in January 1921.[3]
