Henry Taprell Dorling ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Dorling was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1904.[1]

Dorling was appointed in command of the destroyer Murray on 3 November, 1914.[2]

He wrote several books documenting his service, some in a fictionalized form, under the pen name of "Taffrail".
