Rear-Admiral Henry Percy Boxer, R.N. (14 October, 1885 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Boxer was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1907.[1]

Boxer was appointed in command of the destroyer Ness on 31 May, 1913.[2]

Great War

Boxer was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 October, 1915.[3]

He was captain of the destroyer Noble at the Battle of Jutland, where she operated with the Twelfth Destroyer Flotilla.[4]

Post-War

On 7 December, 1918, he was appointed in command of the destroyer Sportive.[5]

He was appointed in command of the destroyer Shamrock on 2 September, 1919.[6]

Boxer was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1920.[7]

Boxer was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1927.[8]

Boxer was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 10 January, 1939.[9]
