Commander Henry Falkiner Minchin, R.N. (5 February, 1889 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in India the son of Lieutenant-Colonel F. F. Minchin, R.A., Henry entered the Royal Navy ranked 26th (tied) in merit of sixty cadets accepted in the May 1904 intake term at H.M.S. Britannia.[1]
Minchin was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 September, 1910.
Minchin was appointed to Cornwallis to act as her Lieutenant (G) on 24 September, 1914.{CN}}
Minchin was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 September, 1918.
Post-War
Minchin was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1923.
Placed on the Retired List due to non-service on 14 September, 1927.
