Rear-Admiral Henry Bradford Maltby, (15 August, 1886 – 25 December, 1940) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Lieutenant G. R. Maltby was born in Winchester.

Maltby was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 August, 1908.

Maltby was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 August, 1916.

Maltby was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 August, 1920.[Fact Check]

Maltby was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1927.

Maltby was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 10 January, 1939 and was placed on the Retired List the following day at his own request.

World War II
