Admiral Harry Seawell Frank Niblett, C.V.O., Royal Navy, Retired (31 October, 1852 – 26 December, 1939) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Niblett was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 March, 1874.[1]

Niblett was promoted to the rank of Commander on 1 January, 1887.[2]

Niblett was appointed Commander of the battleship Victoria, flag ship of the Mediterranean Station, on 14 November, 1889.[3]

He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1892.[4]

Niblett was appointed a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.) on 3 August, 1907.[5]

Niblett was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 5 November, 1908, vice May.[6]

He was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 27 April, 1910.[7]

He was advanced to the rank of Admiral on the Retired List on 20 March, 1913.[8]
