Lieutenant Commander Harrison Avery, ( – October, 1934) served in the United States Navy.

Life & Career

Avery was in command of the submarine O-5 when she was rammed and sunk 28 October, 1923 near the Panama Canal. He was initially faulted for the accident, but later absolved of blame.
