Harold William Millett

Lieutenant R.N.R. Harold William Millett (9 May, 1894 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

At the outset of the war, Millett was appointed to the armed merchant cruiser Oceanic, but on 7 October he was appointed to the armoured cruiser Donegal, where he served until April 1916. He was promoted to the rank of Sub-Lieutenant R.N.R. on 9 May, 1916. In late July he was appointed to the destroyer Vixen.[1]

Millett was placed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 065 on 25 March 1918 and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 9 May, 1918. He was demobilised on 9 April, 1920 and his name was removed from the List on 1 July, 1921.[2]
