Harness and Campbell are in conflict.

The Times reported that Alan Montagu Yeats-Brown commanded this boat and Arthur Kipling Waistell in the UK-TB109 in the Annual Manoeuvres of 1903,Appointments for the Naval Manoeuvres but their service records state it the other way around, and Yeats-Brown has an inspection report for T.B. 109.  I've decided the service records are more reliable in this instance.

H.M. T.B. 82 (1889)
Builder: Yarrow & Company[1]
Launched: 1889[2]
Completed: June 1889[3]
Sold: 22 October, 1921[4]
H.M. T.B. 82 was one of six first-class torpedo boats of the T.B. 82 class.

Service

In 1895, she was one of twenty-three torpedo boats of at least 125 feet in length stationed in Portsmouth along with four smaller ones.[5]

In 1904, T.B. 82 collided with T.B. 86.[6]

Sold initially to Stanlee of Dover, but then resold to J. E. Thomas on 22 October, 1921 alongside her sisters T.B. 85 and T.B. 86.[7]

Captains

Dates of appointment are provided when known.

The Times reported that Alan Montagu Yeats-Brown commanded this boat and Arthur Kipling Waistell in the T.B. 109 in the Annual Manoeuvres of 1903,[43] but their service records state it the other way around, and Yeats-Brown has an inspection report for T.B. 109. I've decided the service records are more reliable in this instance.
