H.M. T.B. 75 (1885)
Builder: Yarrow & Company[1]
Ordered: 30/31 March, 1885[2]
Launched: 1885[3]
Completed: 1886[4]
Collision: 8 August, 1892[5]
H.M. T.B. 75 was one of 53 first-class torpedo boats of the 125 Footer class.

Service

T.B. 75 was stationed at Sheerness until January 1889, when she was transferred to Portsmouth to replace T.B. 12, which had been "sent some time ago to Chatham."[6]

T.B. 75 was among the torpedo boats tender to Hecla deployed to Belfast to participate in the Fleet Manoeuvres of 1892. In company the night of 8-9 August with T.B. 77 and T.B. 84 to patrol the Maidens, T.B. 77 overtook her from astern at 3am and struck her, having misjudged the distance between the vessels. T.B. 75 filled with water and sank at 3:25am. No lives were lost in the accident.[7]
