H.M. T.B. 2 was one of 19 first-class torpedo boats of the T.B. 1 class.

Service

In 1881, there were twenty T.B.s in all; T.B. 2 was reported as "fitted for Whitehead" and serving out of Devonport.[3]

In 1895, she was one of four T.B.s of less than 125 feet in length and thirteen longer ones stationed in Devonport.[4]
