H.M. T.B. 19 (1880)
Builder: J. S. White[1]
Ordered: c. March 1878[2]
Launched: 1880[3]
Broken up: 1899[4]
H.M. T.B. 19 was one of 19 first-class torpedo boats of the T.B. 1 class.

Service

In 1881, there were twenty first-class torpedo boats in all; and like most of her companions, T.B. 19 was fitted for Whitehead, although only partly. She was one of eleven boats serving out of Portsmouth.[5]

After 1886 she was considered to be unfit for service.[6] However she was not sold until 1899, having been listed in 1895 as one of four torpedo boats of less than 125 feet in length stationed in Portsmouth alongside twenty-three larger ones.[7]
