H.M.S. Wrestler was one of twenty-one "W" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.

Service

Wrestler re-commissioned on 1 December, 1920.[7]

She re-commissioned with reduced crew on 18 May, 1922 under command of Lieutenant-Commander Kenneth H. Grant.[8]

She stayed under reduced crew until at least early 1929.[9]

She was commissioned for trials at Chatham on 29 October, 1930.[10]

Commissioned at Portsmouth on 17 November, 1936 for service in the Portsmouth Local Destroyer Flotilla.[11]
