H.M.S. Woolston was one of twenty-one "W" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.

Service

Woolston was commissioned on 18 June, 1918.[8]

She completed to Full Complement on 19 February, 1925.[9]

Woolston was reduced to Reserve 1 April, 1925.[10]

Commissioned at Malta on 8 May, 1926.[11]

Woolston was reduced to Reserve 8 August, 1927.[12]

She transferred to the Reserve Fleet in Devonport on 17 September, 1930.[13]

Commissioned at Devonport on 11 September, 1931.[14]

Re-commissioned on 18 August, 1936 for service with the First Anti-Submarine Flotilla out of Portland.[15]
