H.M.S. Wolfhound was one of twenty-one "W" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.

Service

Wolfhound was commissioned at Rosyth on 15 September, 1920.[7]

She was re-commissioned at Chatham on 22 August, 1922 for service with the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla as part of the Atlantic Fleet.[8] She would serve with this formation through at least mid-1931.

Re-commissioned at the Nore on 21 May, 1926.[9]

Commissioned at Sheerness on 5 November, 1928.[10]

Re-commissioned at Chatham on 24 April, 1931 for service with the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla as part of the Atlantic Fleet.[11]

She was reduced to special complement on 2 June 1936 for service with the First Anti-Submarine Flotilla out of Portland.[12]
