H.M.S. Waterhen was one of twenty-one "W" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.

Service

Waterhen was re-commissioned on 1 July, 1918.[8]

She was re-commissioned at Chatham on 6 June, 1924 to serve with the Fifth Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean.[9]
