H.M.S. Vulture was one of forty "C" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy — a "30 knotter".

Service

She was one of twenty-seven T.B.Ds. of the Portsmouth Flotilla to participate in the Annual Manoeuvres of 1909.[8]

She left the Nore to exercise with five other destroyers and seven torpedo boats of the Nore Defence Flotilla on 18 June, 1912.[9]

In mid-1913, she was serving at The Nore.[10]
